So, today sucked.

First, I was going to go see 'Lovely and Amazing' and my car broke down. (My brother's going to try to fix it. Hopefully, it'll be nothing major, though.) And, naturally, when I did get home, my father jumped on me. (Did you go through a puddle? Was it overheating? Did you drive it without gas? Are you, or have you ever been, a member of the Communist party? Did you sign your name in Goody Proctor's book?) Of course, I was very delighted by my father's insistence that I am a moron, so I ran around doing a jig.

Later, just to get out the house and *not* go insane, I decided to go with a couple of friends to see 'Sunshine State.' And, guess what? The copy the theater has is soundless, and they won't be getting a good version until tomorrow at the earliest.

Yes. For some reason, I was not allowed to see a movie. Well, if I had lowered my standards, I probably could've seen something. Ah! That's what it is - the big film studios are conspiring against me, keeping me from anything decent. The cosmos are trying to force me to see 'XXX.' But I won't yield. I don't care if 'Lovely and Amazing,' is stolen by angry monkeys, 'One Hour Photo,' spontaneously combusts and 'Sunshine State,' never gets friggin' sound, I am not going to see 'XXX.' Or 'Blue Crush.' Or that Matthew Perry flick.

On the good side, though, I now own the first two seasons of 'Mr. Show' on DVD. That, friends, is a damn funny show. Watching one of the episodes tonight, I almost choked. The highest compliment I can give a comedy.

And, on the 'Why Mr. President, why?' front, I heard a sound byte from Bush in which it sounded like he said, "The ultimate goal is to have the trees unhealthy from disease and unhealthy from fire." Is that possible? Really, this is one of the times that I *hope desperately* that I'm going deaf. Eeek! Sometimes Bush freaks me out. Granted, it's not as bad as "Republicans understand the need for bondage between a mother and child," or "We have to ask the question: Is our children learning?" but it's still kinda frightening.

Oh! And another kinda good thing - I feedbacked the lady who wrote the Leo/Amy story, mentioned that I was writing a L/A story, and she said that she was looking forward to reading mine. So, that means two people have declared intent to read this story. Yeah, baby. Hey, it's more than zero. In L/A story related news, it's almost done. Some scenes left to be written, some tinkering, but close to ready. And I'm happy with where it's going. Yeah, baby.

Also, I changed the title. I don't think I ever mentioned the original title (and I won't mention it now, for I've grown to hate it) but the new one (that I don't hate too much, really) is 'No One is Really Innocent.' Which keeps making me think of 'No one is really beautiful,' a line from a Jude song. So, every time I open the file, I sing 'Charlie Says,' to myself. Which is entirely uninteresting. But I mentioned it anyway.

Yeah. Today sucked.
