I'm Aaron Sorkin! I will never have the right to say that again, so once more: I am Aaron Sorkin! Which leads into tonight's 'tWW' - I enjoyed it. Pointless thoughts shall follow later, post spoiler space. But, first, might I say that I placed in a couple of 'Jeds' cats. That Leo/Donna/Margaret bowl of weirdness got second place in 'outstanding grouping of three or more' while 'A Rose Garden Wedding and a Bunch of Cliches' came in third place in 'outstanding reinvention of a fandom cliche.' It's surprising and weird, and I fear recognizing me with actual good authors may bring about the destruction of the fandom; however, I'm not complaining by any means. Just befuddled -- and delighted. I've also now learned that naked!Leo + lesbian sex = awards silver. Not an equation that I would've considered, but it seems to have worked in retrospect. And, the third and first place winners were both Leo/Jed/Abbey stories -- which I shall take as a sign to write a Leo/Donna/Margaret/Jed/Abbey orgy. Uh oh. My last sane personality just killed herself in protest. Really, though, I'm shocked about the L/D/M thing. I thought I would get flamed -- instead, I get a freakin' award. Either people have gone nuts, or I'm cooler than I thought. Okay, so what *exactly* made the people go nuts? Now, though, I'll have to take down the Jeds banner. The Jeds banner rules, yo. In writing news, I have a line without a story. It just popped into my head, and while I know what genre of story it would lend itself, too, it hasn't inspired me to come up with any specifics. Yes, my brain isn't quite working at the moment; I do have a few things to go out to the lists, though, so I can pretend I'm a prolific genius. Okay. I can pretend I'm prolific. Oh! I also finally saw 'Lord of the Rings: The Two Towers.' Still not swept up in this LotR stuff, but I enjoyed it more than the first. I'm rather fond of Smigel/Gollum. But, of course, my love of former hobbits with multiple personalities is well known. It isn't? Well, you know about it now. Consider yourself well informed. Now, spoiler space! so I may discuss 'Inauguaration Part Two.' I A M A A R O N S O R K I N ! O H Y E S ! Okay, so I had to say it one last time. So, may I first say that I'm glad what I originally thought was going to be a plot about stupid!Donna turned out to be about protective!Donna. Granted, she was protecting Christian Slater, but the wonder that is Donna doesn't discriminate on the level of coolness attached to the protectee. And, while I did have a moment of 'Ahhh!' during that little Josh/Donna moment, I was ultimately unmoved. I really don't want them to sleep together, I'm sorry. Power to you if you do, but the shipper in me is dead, replaced by...um, I don't know. Jam? Parfait? Everybody likes parfait. (/pointless ref to 'Shrek.') Donna did look amazing, though, didn't she? I can see why Josh would love her. Okay, I don't want this all to be vaguely creepy rambling about my love of Donna. So -- I love Will. I may love him more than Sam, which could get me murdered in many circles, but I don't care. Him breaking the window, him being all vomit-y and nervous. Okay, so that may not *sound* like reasons to love a character, but you must see the episode. Then, everything shall become clear. And, I'm trying to decide what was the most random moment of the episode: Toby and Leo walking across the room to hug each other, or Danny having a copy of his article in his tuxedo. He might as well have had 'Serving the plot' tattooed on his forehead. Unless, I'm horribly out of the loop and reporters generally carry around their latest columns in their pocket. Oh, another thing I loved: Charlie vowing to get Zoey back. That boy is just adorable. Also adorable? Jed, trying to save the world. And Leo in general. Because. All in all, good episode. I shall never be Aaron Sorkin, though. *sigh* Talented bastard.
