2002-07-07 - 1:59 a.m.
So, I haven't read any of the fic yet. Because I got busy cleaning out my mailboxes and searching for a thing about 'The Princess Diaries' being slashy. (which is something I read a while ago. I know I'll never find it, since I don't know if it was an article, a random blog post, or what.)
And, now, my mother's in my room trying to sleep and I want to get offline soon so I don't annoy her with the light of the computer. But I have a lot to look forward to. Faith/Gina! Mandy/Zoey! Ann Stark/Mary Marsh! Carol/Amy! the Crossing Jordan chick/Ellie! And, on non-Wing Swing side I've got a Josh/Amy and a Sara/Gris both by Cappuccino Girl. I am pleased.
But, before I go, a few random thoughts.
1) That Brad and Jane M&M commercial will always be funny.
2) Is it just me or does 'I Spy' make no sense? Owen Wilson has to team up with Eddie Murphy to catch Malcom McDowell? And Eddie's a boxer? And Owen's...something. And what's Malcolm's dastardly plot? The who and what in the where now? Maybe I was too distracted by figuring out if the movie featured Action!Owen [one of my favorite Owens] but the whole preview confused the crap out of me. However, there does seem to be a good amount of Action!Owen. So, there's that.
3) Is it wrong to want to slash 'The Negotiator'? And for the desired slash to be Al Travis/Chris Sabian? And my only reason for doing that being my love for Kevin Spacey and John Spencer?
4) I've been writing more notes on the background fic that places Ginger in Kevin Smith's View Askewniverse, and have now decided I want to write a present day Ginger fic before I delve into the weird bg fic. So, what do I do? Making her sleep with Donna or Leo would be too easy. Toby and CJ have already been done a few times. I could pick a name out of a hat, ala the Wing Swing. (which is my new favorite thing. I heart you, Wing Swing.) Or I could just write a no-romo vingette, maybe with a touch of angst. For angst is my master, and I her slave. Or something like that. Choices. Ah, choices.
5) Is ff.net dead? What the hell am I going to do with the 'American Beauty' and 'Grand Canyon' fics if it is?
6) Where do babies come from, Mommy? Oh wait. I know that already.
7) I just wanted to get to seven. So I can write this [Se7en] and, thus, make a pointless Spacey reference. And ask - why do I always forget that Richard Schiff is in Se7en? Because I always am surprised when he shows up toward the end of the flick. Although I should know he'll be there. It's weird.
And, like that, *poof* she's gone.
