Up too late once again. Because. Sucky thing is, though, that I have to get up kinda early. But, I do have a way with surviving on little sleep. Is it a blessing or a curse? Or, is it in fact neither, and not a very interesting fact anyway? Well...
So, I gave in to my desire to watch 'The Negotiator.' Because Spacey in ski pants! The John Spencer, who roams majestically through the land, making sweet love to all whom he passes! David Morse with a scowl and a mustache! Yeah, it's all been done before. Yeah, I'd hate it if another group of actors had made the movie.
(sidenote: Sly Stallone was originally offered the Sam Jackson part - wouldn't have been so cool, methinks. And Kevin wouldn't have done it. He only signed on after Sam did, because he wanted to work with him again. And if it had been a movie with Stallone and some other misc. action dude, nothing would've saved it. Not cool character actors. Not even THE John Spencer. Yes, must stop that).
But, point is, 'The Negotiator' is cool, dude. And vaguely slashy, as many films with a mostly male cast can be. But, I saw slashiness in 'Kate and Leopold' so I may be a little quirky. Really quirky thing, though, is that there was a time where I didn't read slash at all. Now I'm seeing slashiness in so many different places.
And you know who would be really interested in this? The John Spencer.
Okay, no he wouldn't. I just wanted to say that again.
